Honeymoon Cove Resort on the shores of Clear Lake in the outskirts of Clearlake Park, California was built in the 1930’s as a country estate for a Bay Area family and later sold to another Bay Area couple who turned it into a small resort for families.
Being the third owners of this spectacular piece of property that was purchased in 1970. We have strived to keep these 1930's cabins as original as when the property was purchased. Unfortunately we lost the main house during a fire in the 1970’s shortly after acquiring the property.
Honeymoon Cove Resort is situated on five beautiful acres filled with trees and a shaded lawn with 500 feet of private beach and its own boat launch ramp.
Located seven miles west of the town of Clearlake away from all the street and highway noise in a gated “Not a Through Street” with the most beautiful view on the entire lake of the majestic twin peaks of Mt. Konocti A chance to take yourself back 80 years and relax and sleep in a 1930’s log cabin.
Bring your Jet Ski’s, boat fishing equipment and enjoy California’s largest natural lake with 100 miles of shoreline and know you are not on a pond as you have almost 20 miles from tip to tip for exploring on the lake. Home of most of the Western Bass Fishing Tournaments.
